Every name has its powerful Meaning

mommy momentsNote : My post is a little longer than my other Mommy Moments post. Thank you for taking your time to read and may you will be blessed as you read.

The name given to my children was base on my feeling and experiences throughout the pregnancy. After checking the meaning both of us agreed.

1st child (boy) : When I pregnant with my 1st child I have no clue of what to expect all I care about is to have a harmony with my baby inside the womb and be joyful as much as I can, and I was smiling all the way. I have stopped working from a demanding job then and was working in the church. I spent most of my days and weekend in the church, and whenever we had a prayer meeting, even in the church office, it’s so natural that they (people in the church) would come and lay hands on my tummy every time they see me. I was really overjoyed with my pregnancy and I had a quick and almost painless normal delivery experience. When he was delivered, he has a cheerful, peaceful and fair look. His middle name meaning was “declarer of joy”. Our prayer is that he will always pursue peacefulness among the people and have joy in the things that he does.

2nd child (girl) : The feeling I experience with my 2nd pregnancy was totally different with the 1st pregnancy. I tend to be more serious; thinking a lot, emotional that when I saw people on the street specially children, my compassion towards them rises up and wish I could do something. The only thing I could do is pray that God would bless them. I memorize a lot of bible verses throughout this pregnancy. I have conditioned my mind that whatever happens during the delivery, I will choose to enjoy the pain. True enough I experienced a very intense pain prior to her delivery. I was pushing and pushing for almost 1 ½ hour, and surprisingly I can still tolerate the pain and still smiling. Hubby was saying that I looked so tired yet peaceful. When she was born the cord was around her neck and her face was a little blue. She has a serious but pleasant looking look. Why we name her this name? As much as I have compassion with the poor and the untouched people, we prayed that one day she will have her home that she called House of God, and hopefully she can contribute something to those people.

3rd child (boy) : The pregnancy experience I had with my 3rd child was a little similar with the 2nd pregnancy. I was already become a stay at home mom with this pregnancy. I was serious, thinking a lot and the only different is I was very moody. I get angry and irritated with small small things almost everyday. I am so filled with guilt then because I was showing my temper to my poor kids and hubby. I prayed for forgiveness for my behavior to them, yet it was difficult to control the mood and emotion. That was the early stage of my pregnancy. By the 3rd trimester my emotion and mood starting to settle down and I tried to be peaceful most of the time. My prayer for that time is that the baby will have a faithful, humble heart, strong and bold character.

Mommy, I enjoyed reading your post, I loved the artistic touch of the photos. Your children’s name are the real biblical name. That is how the characters in the Bible were named, just like Jabez, Mara, etc.

You are indeed a blessing to me mommy. I thank God that though you lived in a place where the rate of Christian is really low, you trust Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. Let your light so shine that many other Malaysian might be saved by God’s grace.

    Have a blessed weekend.

Eh, btw mommy, kindly update my link, the Online Mommy’s Corner link to http://mylenerabago.com. I also have an updated badge, just grab it when you are free… :)

I love the way you posted their pictures here. Very creative. Your children are beautiful. Allan was supposed to be my brother’s name but they decided to make him a junior of my father. Anyway, Caleb and Bethany sounds like powerful names. I love them.
