Mother and Son Conversation
My conversation with him goes like this:
Me : Please do your homework now! It’s getting late.
Son:?
Me : Did you hear what I say?
Son: Ya..ya..ya.. blah..blah..blah
Me : Now please! (Angry already)
Son: If I do my homework can you buy me something?

Another conversation goes like this:
Son: (while eating) Mummy, why you never take care of me? You only take care of baby.
Me : Don’t talk while you are eating.
Son: If I finished my food, can you buy me something.
The conversation with him can go round and round until he gets a satisfied answer. He has been talking, I would say non stop since he is two and half years old.
His final exam is coming next month, and again he’ll say “if I get good results in the exam, can you buy me something?” That something he has been bugging about is PS3. He mentioned that his friend at school has been talking about it, and he will continue with various games he wanted to play. See how the outside influence impact on our children and he is only coming to be seven years old. I know there are more challenges coming as he grows up and we as parents really need wisdom to guide them.

You are right mommy. Parents like us should be wiser than our kids otherwise we might be the one to ruin them.
I have post about “our bossy kids,” I am wondering if you can share your thoughts about it
