It’s his 7th Birthday

November 13th, 2009 3 comments

happy-birthday

Woohoo!… It’s his 7th birthday today. I can still remember his birth my almost painless delivery and throughout the 7 years he has been an active and talkative boy. The only bitter incident that I can never forget is when he has gone missing in the shopping mall when he is only 1 and half years old after he entered the lift all by himself. Seeing his smile again after 15 minutes when the security guard found him on the 2nd floor car park make me wanna cry. What a traumatic experience and I thank God for his protection. I pray that God will strengthen his inner man and that may he has the desire to know Him more. Happy 7th birthday my boy you are a blessing!

Questions She Asked

November 10th, 2009 3 comments

questions she askedWhy girl have to sit properly?

Why girl have to wear skirt?(She dislikes wearing skirt)

Why have to sit properly in the car?

Why koko (brother) have to go to school?

Why I cannot write properly?

She can go on and on without her questions being answered and I know I’m gonna miss this moment when she grows up. When the brother is around, it is him who answers her question. Oh… now that I remember I need to ask hubby to check on the stainless steel drums. I know it’s got nothing to do with this post. Have a fruitful day everyone!

If the king go to his own castle, he have to get a crown. Then the king sit on his chair. Then the king have the dog. Okay the king is always sad…why?… nobody save him, because too late. Then king save the crown. Then the crown don’t come down from the king. The king is only the one who can jump of the shower of the crown.

My conversation with him goes like this:
Me : Please do your homework now! It’s getting late.
Son:?
Me : Did you hear what I say?
Son: Ya..ya..ya.. blah..blah..blah
Me : Now please! (Angry already)
Son: If I do my homework can you buy me something?
Me :?

Another conversation goes like this:
Son: (while eating) Mummy, why you never take care of me? You only take care of baby.
Me : Don’t talk while you are eating.
Son: If I finished my food, can you buy me something.

Caleb : 7 Months

He is growing very fast. Now that he is 7 months he can crawl, very mobile, easily distracted and attempting to stand and walk by himself. He has started taking solid food and still nursing.

I ♥ Faces – feet

July 20th, 2009 6 comments

Picture taken when my baby only 1 month old, now he is 6 months.

baby feetTell me, what is half so sweet
As a baby’s tiny feet,
Pink and dainty as can be,
Like a coral from the sea?

Little feet, so rich with charm,
May you never come to harm.
As I bend and proudly blow
Laughter out of every toe,
This pray, that God above
Shall protect you with His love,
And shall guide those little feet
Safely down life’s broader street.

Part of the words excerpted from a poem entitled “Baby Feet” by Edgar Guest button-feet-week

Baby pouting face

baby pouting faceOne little finger, one little finger
One little finger tap, tap, tap
Put your finger up, put your finger down
Put it on your lap, lap, lap

Do you sing to your baby? A baby loves when you sing to them. I love it when they respond with bubbling and cooing sound. It is a fun way to make language come alive for you and your baby.

I was singing to my 6 months old baby the other day and the moment I sing, he starts showing his face and get very cranky. Bad choice of song or maybe my voice not up to his standard…hehe.. Here is his pouting face signaling mummy to stop singing.
